How to Recycle

Recycling with Plasback is an easy 4 step process:

1Buy Plasback twine or silage wrap liners online.

2Bag your waste plastic as it accumulates.

3Drop full liners at your local drop point.

4Feel good about what you're doing. Recycling this plastic has a positive impact on the environment.

FREE - There are limited quantities of silage wrap and twine liners at no cost in some council areas. These have been provided by council or your local landcare organisations. To find out how to get some and get started with Plasback, call Darrell on 0407559709

 

The Facts

 Plasback farm plastics recycling – THE FACTS

All plastics collected are recycled

 Recycling Silage Wrap, Grain Tubes & Pit Covers:

  • You must use only green Plasback “Silage Wrap Only” liners.
  • One Plasback silage wrap liner will hold 16 – 20 round bale silage wraps
  • One box holds 25 Plasback silage wrap liners – enough to recycle either 400 + wraps, 5+ grain tubes, 3 – 5 silage pit covers
  • Bale net wrap must be separated and cannot be included in the liner. This cannot be recycled at this stage.
  • The plastic cores cannot be recycled at this stage.

Recycling Baling Twine:

  • You must use only red Plasback “Twine Only” liners.
  • One Plasback twine liner will hold twine from 70+ big square bales.
  • One box holds 10 Plasback silage wrap liners – enough to recycle either 700+ big square bales.
  • Please tie off all liners with either a cable tie, piece of silage plastic (silage liners) or baling twine (twine liners)

 IF ANY OTHER PLASTICS OR RUBBISH ARE IN THESE LINERS WHEN DROPPED – THEY WILL BE REJECTED
